Eco-Detailing
ECOLUTION® trimmings and findings express our high quality standards and respect for ecology. We make all of our linings, edgings, straps, pockets, compartments, and all other such trimmings from hemp. We have even developed a distinctive woven bias tape from hemp/flax for edging. Our eco-detailing gives ECOLUTION® products an attractive, distinctive, and classy touch while maintaining their ecological soundness.
Natural Buttons
This spring ECOLUTION® launched a stunning selection of shell buttons that reflect our practice of producing unique and beautiful natural fashions. These buttons have been specifically chosen to match each color and style of our apparel. They are made from Acoya, Awabi, Doboo, Mussel, Paua, Shell Conch, and T-Wing shells. In order to have the best possible match for every garment, we work with many sizes of these buttons and utilize the inner or outer side depending on how its color and texture relate to the piece. In addition to these shells, we still work with our classic tagua nut buttons for some of our garments. The tagua nuts are collected by indigenous peoples from the Amazon. We have worked with these buttons since we first started manufacturing apparel eleven years ago. The ECOLUTION® tradition of using only natural buttons represents our mission of producing authentic natural products. |
