Natural Dyes
Human nature and Mother Nature. The child always tries to reproduce his mother's gestures and habitude. Mankind has always sought to reproduce nature's colors in everything we create from our homes to our clothes in our search for eternal beauty. To be in harmony with nature is a necessity of life, going beyond fashion. To be a part of this world of miracles…
At ECOLUTION®, we were inspired to develop natural dyes since we first began to work with hemp. This dream was actualized a few years ago when a Transylvanian eco-botanist with a background in natural pigments joined our team. After intensive research and development working with local plants, we achieved the four colors that you see here. ECOLUTION® uses only eco-friendly mordants, blue stone, alum, salt, and vinegar, to fix these dyes. In future seasons once our natural dye gardens come into bloom, we will have a wider variety of colors to offer you. |
